Johnny Painter is an accomplished Scenic Artist, working throughout the greater Los Angeles region. With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has led the Scenic Arts department at numerous live theaters and on countless projects and stage shows. She has designed and painted for film, television, stage and commercial productions and retail boutiques. She offers set design, scenic arts, faux finishes, trompe-l’oeil, foam carving, the painting of backdrops and backings, graphic design and execution, and retail sign design. She lives in Pasadena, CA and is currently the Lead Scenic at the Pasadena Playhouse.
As a traditional 2D character animator, Johnny LeBlanc, better know as Johnny Painter, has worked for many of the major film studios, including DreamWorks, Sony, Warner Brothers, and Universal Pictures, and numerous commercial animation studios, including Laika/House, Acme Animation, Duck Studios, Cartoon Network, We Are Royale, and Pascal Blais Studio. She has animated on feature films and for a wide range of commercial properties, such as McDonald's Happy Meals, Starbucks, Honda's Mr. Opportunity, The Smurfs, Orville Redenbacher, Toyota Sienna and Bayer Aspirin.
